Any money received by Duke’s Creek Cabins for occupancy of vacation property indicates the acceptance of the terms of our Vacation Rental Agreement in full. All policies are strictly enforced. It is the responsibility of all guests (and members of their party) to be familiar with all policies pertaining to rental. In accepting the confirmation email, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our policies.
General Rules
· To make a reservation you must be 21 years of age and present a valid credit or debit card.
· Full payment is preferred, but 50% of the reservation total must be secured as a deposit when reservation is made.
· The balance of the rental cost is to be paid at check-in.
· Cabin rentals require a 2 night minimum stay. We do occasionally make exceptions.
· Holiday weekends require a 3 night minimum stay.
· Personal checks must be received 3 weeks prior to reservation.
· No personal checks taken for final payments.
· $25 Service fee on all returned checks.
· Rates do not include 12% taxes or $40 cleaning fee.
Checking In & Out
· After making your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with the key retrieval code for the lock box to unlock your cabin.
· You may go directly to your cabin upon arrival. You will not need to check in at the office.
· You do not need to check out at the office. Please lock the doors to the cabin and return the keys to the lockbox. Scramble the tumblers.
· Please inquire for approval to check in early or check out late. If you have not checked out by 2:00 pm without permission, you may be subject to a full day additional charge.
· In the event of appliance or mechanical failure, the management will make every attempt to repair the problem or move you to another unit if possible.
Pets
· Only Cabin #5 is pet friendly. We are unable to accomodate pets in the other cabins.
· If there is evidence of a pet having been in your cabin, there may be a $50 deep cleaning fee added to your final bill (with the exception of Cabin #5).
Smoking
· All cabins are smoke free. Smoking is permitted outside. Please honor this policy out of respect of future guests.
· If the smoking policy is violated, a $50 deep cleaning fee may be added to your final bill.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
· ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING OR VIA EMAIL.
· Please notify our office staff immediately of any changes that you need to make to your reservation.
· All cancellations made within 7 days of arrival date will result in a $50 cancellation fee.
· There are NO refunds given for early departures or NO SHOWS.
Cleaning Requirements
· Guests are asked to leave the property in the same general condition it was when they arrived.
· Please wash and put away all dishes.
· Remove food from the refrigerator and cabinets.
· Place garbage in garbage cans.
· Please place all dirty linens in the bathroom tubs so the cleaning crew knows they are dirty.
· Guests are responsible for any damages, abuse, excessive cleanup requirements, or loss caused by any member of party to the property or its contents during Guest's occupancy.
